Common Issues

The Sorter panel is not appearing on Instagram
Make sure you are on a public Instagram profile page (e.g. instagram.com/username). The Sorter panel only appears on profile pages, not on the home feed, reels tab, or explore page. If it still doesn't appear, try disabling and re-enabling the extension from chrome://extensions and refreshing Instagram.
My scan count isn't updating after payment
After payment, token credits are processed by our server within 1–2 minutes. Close the extension panel and reopen it to refresh your token count. If scans still haven't appeared after 5 minutes, email us at team.insorter@gmail.com with your Razorpay Payment ID.
I used all 3 free scans — how do I get more?
Your 3 free daily scans reset every day at midnight. If you need more scans right away, you can purchase a scan pack from insorter.com/pay. Paid scans never expire and stack on top of your daily free scans.
The scan stopped in the middle / got stuck
This can happen if Instagram's page structure changed or your internet connection dropped mid-scan. Refresh the Instagram page and try scanning again. If it fails consistently, email us — a mid-scan failure does not consume your token.
I didn't receive my OTP email
Check your spam/junk folder first. OTPs expire after 10 minutes — click "Resend OTP" to get a new one. If you're using a corporate or university email, it may be blocked by your email server. Try signing up with a Gmail address instead.
How do I request a refund?
Email team.insorter@gmail.com with your registered email and Razorpay transaction ID within 7 days of purchase. See our full Refund Policy for eligibility details.
How do I delete my account?
Email team.insorter@gmail.com with the subject "Delete my account" and your registered email address. We will permanently delete your data within 7 days.
