Tool Purpose

Sorter AI is intended solely for content research and analytics. It reads publicly visible post data (likes, comments, view counts) from Instagram profiles that are already displayed on the user's screen. It does not scrape private data, automate any interactions on Instagram, or act on behalf of the user's Instagram account in any way.

Rate-Limited Scanning

Sorter AI uses human-speed, rate-limited scanning to minimise any risk of interference with Instagram's platform. Scan limits (3 free scans per day, paid packs for additional scans) are in place to prevent bulk automated use.

Data Accuracy

Engagement metrics (likes, comments, views) displayed by Sorter AI are extracted directly from what is rendered on the Instagram page at the time of scanning. We make no guarantees about accuracy, as Instagram may change their page structure without notice.

Chrome Extension Disclosure

Sorter AI is a Chrome extension published on the Chrome Web Store. It requests only the permissions necessary to perform its core function. For a full list of permissions and their justification, see our Privacy Policy.
